Common error: “Product key has already been used”
Possible causes:
- The key was already activated on another device or profile
- A typo when entering the key
- A prior reinstall that still counts against the same entitlement
What to do if the key appears already used
Try the following:
- Re-enter the key carefully
- If you purchased from Wandlit, email support@wandlit.com with your order number — we will verify against the supplier record
Common error: “Product key is not valid”
Possible causes:
- Wrong product or edition for the key you have
- Regional or channel mismatch (e.g. wrong media)
- Characters confused (0 vs O, 1 vs I, extra spaces)
What to do if the key is reported invalid
Try the following:
- Confirm the product name on your order matches what you are installing
- Copy the key from your order email or account area instead of retyping
- Contact support@wandlit.com if the problem continues
Common error: “Unable to reach activation servers”
Try the following:
- Check your internet connection and retry
- Pause VPN or strict firewall rules temporarily
- Retry later — publisher activation services can be busy
Activation limits (typical)
Limits depend on the exact product and license channel. Typical retail examples:
- Microsoft 365 / subscription products: follow the subscription seat rules shown at purchase (not a one-time perpetual key in most cases)
- Office Home & Student / Home & Business (perpetual retail): usually one device install per license — confirm on your product page
- Office Professional (perpetual retail): typically one PC — confirm edition
- Windows 10/11 retail: one device; transfer rules depend on channel and Microsoft policy
